Before I worked in hyperscale data centers, I learned the value of discipline through physical labor.
Those experiences shaped the work ethic I carry into every rack, every repair, and every production environment I've supported.

01 / Foundation

Physical labor and grit

I never planned on becoming a cable technician. It was physically demanding work in unfinished data centers—long days pulling cable, wearing high-vis gear, and working as a subcontractor that often went unnoticed. But being surrounded by the infrastructure behind the internet made me curious, and that curiosity became the foundation of my career.

02 / Diagnostics

Thousands of systems rebuilt

At Olive Innovative Technology, I diagnosed and refurbished thousands of computers. The high-volume environment gave me an intuitive understanding of hardware failures and laid the foundation for the troubleshooting mindset I rely on today.

03 / Scale

Tier 2 infrastructure operations

Now managing scale operations since 2023. I keep critical servers online, coordinate zero-downtime maintenance, and master the AWS cloud architectures that virtualize this physical power.

04 / Connection Timed Out

TikTok DCT

I failed more times than I can count.

Stepping into a leadership role meant making decisions, leading operational meetings, and mentoring some of TikTok's finest Data Center Operators. With responsibility came criticism, and I took many of those moments personally. As someone who naturally leans toward perfectionism, there was no harsher critic than myself.

Looking back, I realize failure wasn't something to avoid—it was one of my greatest teachers. Every difficult conversation, every mistake, and every setback shaped the leader I've become today.

For what it's worth, I share my successes when I win and take full accountability when I don't. I'm the kind of leader who shares the credit for success and takes full blame for failure

First Enterprise Data Center

Walking into my first enterprise data center changed how I looked at technology. I wasn't building servers or configuring networks yet—I was labeling AOC cables and helping prepare infrastructure. But standing inside that environment, seeing the racks, structured cabling, cooling systems, and attention to detail, I realized there was an entire world behind every website and application I used. I didn't know much yet, but I knew I wanted to learn everything I could.

While patching and labeling cables, I often watched network engineers and data center designers walk the floor discussing infrastructure requirements. I didn't know exactly what they did, but I knew I wanted to become one of them.

Last day working as a cable technician. I left excited, not because I was leaving the job behind, but because I had found an industry worth building a career in. For the first time, I knew exactly what direction I wanted to pursue.
